Field test and final review of the Tsumbay 12 volt car vacuum cleaner which we have been using recently.

Tsumbay kindly sent us a car vacuum cleaner just a day or two after we got our newer car. This was perfect timing for us because we want to keep this car clean and maintain it nicely.

This vacuum cleaner comes with an extension hose, crevice tool and a brush. I like the crevice tool for under the seats and the brush is perfect for our softer fabric seats. It also works better for our carpeted trunk. This helps pull out the pine needles.

We live on sandy soil with pine trees so our car is often loaded with both sand and fragments of pine needles. This makes a mess of our carpet in a hurry.

The vacuum cleaner from Tsumbay cleans it all up though. It wont suck the carpet out of the car but it does work well for daily use. Some people expect too much out of a hand vacuum cleaner but I am very much pleased with this one.

There is a holding container for the dirt along with a very good filter which can be used over and over again. When cleaning your car, as the vacuum seems to get weaker, it is time to dump the dirt and clean the filter. This is easily done by pressing a button on top of the vacuum cleaner and removing the dirt container. Then pull out the filter. Gently tap the filter against a tree or something to knock out all the dirt and dust.

This vacuum cleaner really filters out the dust too. Some very fine dust particles are trapped in the holding container as you clean your carpet. I am impressed with the filter in this.

With a power cord that is nearly 15 feet long, this vacuum cleaner is also perfect for spot cleaning in our off grid tiny house. We run on 12 volt solar power and we have 12 volt outlets for power in our tiny house. Instead of hauling out the huge full sized vacuum we can grab the little hand vacuum for quick cleanups.

The holding container could be a bit larger and there could be a flap to hold the dirt in better but otherwise I am happy with this device.
