VM-ware ESXi is a bit sensitive when it comes to what hardware it will run on, but i have funded that it runes on HP dc7800 and 7900 without any problems. That is really cool, because it is the kind of machine that you can buy for next to nothing, often you can be lucky just to get them for free.
Here i take you through almost all the steps. Start by updating the firmware of the HP dc7800 or dc7900 Desktop machine, to latest version. (I do not show that)

Remember you need at least 4GB of RAM,, if you want to use a dc7800 then you get 2GB blocks if dc7900 you are after then there's 4GB blocks which are best.
