I repaired the solar panels and fastened them up better than ever with both screws and zip ties. I am not going to risk them blowing off again like last time.

I was heading out to help a friend with his vehicle when my own car quit driving. I ran out of transmission fluid. The car blows out fluid from a pressure relief valve at times. I was able to drive slowly in reverse but had no forward drive. I eventually able to get home and put some transmission fluid in the car. Finally I was able to help my friend as well.

The next morning there was beautiful ice patterns on the window of our off grid tiny house. It looks like a fern like plant. I had to record this forever on video and share it with you.

Sunday my family gave me a birthday party and I drove down to be with them for the day. It was very nice. We got home to a huge full moon and a clear sky. It was frigid cold out with a forecast of -20.

The moon was casting shadows on the ground in the night because it was so bright.

We burnt through most of our fire wood already this year. We have burnt much more fire wood already this year than we did last year. We had to start burning fire wood full time in September this year. I am going to have to get more fire wood soon.
