I was going to make live edge slabs on the chainsaw lumber mill but after the first cut the chainsaw died and never started again.

I have some large Poplar logs that I plan to cut into one inch thick slabs. I hope to fast dry them inside our tiny house so I can process them into serving trays this winter.

The chainsaw ran well at first and then suddenly quit on me. I checked the spark plug and it has a good, strong spark. I sprayed starter fluid into the carburetor and it is not getting to the engine so there is a complete blockage between the carburetor and the engine.

When I sprayed starter fluid directly into the cylinder it fired.

I will have to break this down and see what the issue is.
