I got the Wowtac Ultra-Thrower A4 LED flashlight to try out and put through field testing. This is the unboxing and my first impressions of the light.

The A4 LED flashlight is a bit longer and narrow at the grip with a very large reflector for the LED light. This is not specifically a tactical LED, leaving off the defensive cutting edges you often find these days. The edges on this light are round and smooth. But it does have the flashing and blinding strobe mode with 1200 Lumens.

This flashlight takes two 18650 batteries, which are not included in the box. I had to dig up some in order to try out the light. In the box are a spare set of O rings and a manual.

As is typical with Wowtac flashlights, this one has various modes ranging from very low to turbo mode.

The reading mode has only 0.5 lumens. Then there are the low, medium, high, turbo and strobe mode. The turbo mode has 2000 lumens intensity and lasts for 150 minutes on a full charge.

The beam distance is 750 meters, which nicely pierces the night for a long way.

This is a very affordable flashlight with high quality craftsmanship and parts.

Stay tuned for the full review and field test of the Wowtac Ultra-Thrower A4 LED flashlight.
