Tru-Spec sent me some of their tactical clothing and uniforms to try out. I got a full uniform including a pair of pants, BDU top and a boonie hat.
The BDU shirt looks like the old woodland camo I am used to from the Army. It has a lot of changes though from what I had back in the day. There are two breast pockets but no lower front pockets on the shirt.
The arms though have two pockets on each arm along with a place for ink pens and pencils. There is of course velcro for your patches and rank.
It is made of 50/50 nylon and cotton mix. The front both zips up and has velcro enclosures. The neck also has a velcro strap to close it tight if you need.
The pants are quite unique and have some special material to allow them to breathe in the crotch and behind the knees. There are also two zippers to allow air to flow in through a screen like material.
There are two front hand pockets and the two back pockets along with two front thigh pockets.
Down on the bottom of the cuff there is a metal clasp on each pant leg which I assume clips the pants down to your boot laces.
The boonie hat I got came in woodland camo and has openings for air flow. The material is rip stop canvas like the military uses.
