We use the SilverFire Scout wood cook stove and the Ozark Trails cooking pot set all the time now. These items go everywhere we go.

We happened to be at the lake on this day fishing. It was convenient to grab our SilferFire Scout wood gassifier cook stove and cook our lunch. This uses just a handful of burnable material to cook a meal. We both love it very much because it packs up nicely, does not take much space and requires no fuel to be carried around with us.

The SilverFire Scout survival cook stove comes in an MSR Seagul stainless steel pot with lid. This makes it very neat and convenient to pack into your backpack or bug out bag.

We also carry the Ozark Trails cooking pot set with two pots and a lid. These are stainless steel, durable and not too heavy. For two people it is so much better to have the larger pots to cook meals, boil water or make coffee.

I also used the UST TekFire electric fire starter to start the fire in our survival cook stove. I cannot believe how well this thing works. But that will be a full review coming soon.

Our lunch came from a surplus store which was selling meal packages which are generally distributed in disaster areas. These boxes hold all the food a person needs for an entire day including breakfast, lunch, dinner, deserts and snacks. We picked up 50 of them on our last pay check and we really love them for grab and go use like today.
