I got a Cybertron PC mini server in my last server haul and I am installing Linux Mint on it to see how well it runs. This mini server has a 2 core Atom CPU with hyper-threading, giving it a virtual 4 cores. It has 2GB DDR3 RAM, two 120GB SSD drives and a 500GB HDD.I want to see if I can use this as a workstation connected to a server for home use so I am trying Linux Mint since it is light weight.I got the PC running with no issues at all. Now I am experimenting to see how well it runs. I cannot quite stream videos on it yet. I may need a separate GPU to get that to work. But it works for browsing and office use at least. The Do It Yourself World LLChttp://www.thedoityourselfworld.comGet off the grid for $5,000 or lesshttp://www.theoffgridproject.comDIY Tube Video CommunityYour alternate video sharing communityhttp://www.diytube.videoGet help with your projects or share your experienceshttp://www.thedoityourselfworld.com/forum/ - Electronics - 38046Do It Yourself Electronics
