I ordered some parts for my cryptocurrency mining rigs. One of my biggest issues with mining cryptocurrency is finding a good power supply. In the past I had many power supplies all hanging on each rig. Over time many of them blew out. Cheaper power supplies cannot even handle half of their rating long term without frying. So I am now turning to HP server power supplies which I can find second hand very inexpensively. These go for $20 to 30 used and they are made to handle a load full time for years at a time. They are designed not to fail under load as well. And they are generally more efficient than most PC power supplies.I also get what is called a break out board which clamps onto the power supply output terminals and gives me sockets for my wires. Some break out boards come with wires and some do not.I got a good deal today on an HP 1,200 power supply and from another source a break out board with a bunch of wires.I do use some solar power to mine cryptocurrency and I hope to go all solar one day soon. I am planning to start adding more solar panels once the ground is workable again. The Do It Yourself World LLChttp://www.thedoityourselfworld.comGet off the grid for $5,000 or lesshttp://www.theoffgridproject.comDIY Tube Video CommunityYour alternate video sharing communityhttp://www.diytube.videoGet help with your projects or share your experienceshttp://www.thedoityourselfworld.com/forum/ - Cryptocurrency and Mining - 38389Do It Yourself Electronics
