Some more parts came in for my home server and data center. I am practicing at home for the new DIY Tube server and data center which will be coming soon.Today I received some hard drive caddies and a cable which will attach to the internal Dell Raid SAS connector to the external Dell PowerVault hard drive enclosure.Previously I had ordered a Dell Raid card with external ports but got an internal card instead. So I ordered a cable to go from the internal card to an external enclosure. You have to do the best with what you have so I will.I think I have enough hard drive caddies to set up the Dell PowerVault. For now I will be setting up a 30 TB array to get started. I can connect up to 1 PowerVaults to a single server which will give me a nice amount of storage capacity. The Do It Yourself World LLChttp://www.thedoityourselfworld.comGet off the grid for $5,000 or lesshttp://www.theoffgridproject.comDIY Tube Video CommunityYour alternate video sharing communityhttp://www.diytube.videoGet help with your projects or share your experienceshttp://www.thedoityourselfworld.com/forum/ - Electronics - 38211Do It Yourself Electronics
