ThruNite sent me their TH30 3350 Lumen LED flashlight/headlamp to try out and review.
This is a unique flashlight in that the light is turned 90 degrees from the base of the light. The TH30 LED headlamp can be used as a flashlight or a head lamp.
The light comes out of the head band easily so you can take it with you in your hand. Or slide it back into the headband and use it as a head lamp.
With 3350 lumens it has a range of 150 meters which is outstanding for a headlamp, especially considering its small size.
Included are the standard ThruNite spare O rings and charging port cover. Plus a USB charging cable.
The ThruNite TH30 is USB rechargeable so you do not have to remove the battery to charge it. This makes it convenient for survival or daily use since you can almost always find a USB charging port somewhere. For survival you can use a small hand crank charger or solar panel.
There is also a spare head band mount if needed so give this light a long lasting life.
The TH30 has 7 functions, which is a bit more than the standard ThruNite lights that I have seen. This one has turbo, high, medium, medium low, low, firefly and SOS mode.
The included battery is an 18650 3100 mah ThruNite battery so there is no need to go out and buy a battery to use this light.
The TH30 is also impact resistant and water resistant.
