Description:
We got some new chickens and ducks for free the other day. A neighbor wanted to give them to a new home which would care for them so we were called to come get them.

The chickens are happy and tame. They love to be held and talked to, which is perfect for Melanie since she cares for the chickens and loves them.

There are two roosters and some hens. Plus we have three ducks. All the females are laying eggs in the whole lot.

Melanie is especially excited about trying duck eggs. I hear they are good for baking but never tried them myself.

The birds settled right in happily and the ducks were playing in the snow like it was water.

My video site http://www.diytube.video has been seeing some changes. One huge change is that now we have the ability to search for specific channels. On the drop down menu on the top left there is a menu where you can browse channels. On this page you can see the channel name, logo and some of their recent videos.

This now makes it fair to all channel owners on the site. And it allows the viewer to easily find their way around.

I am working on a community site as well where I will post updates, plans and instructions on how to use the site.

It was very cold but I had to head out and cut some fire wood. This takes my breath away fast. It seems to me that the cold makes everything ten times harder. I am not talking about 20 degrees F cold but I am talking about negative temperatures. I am sure others would call me weak and tell me that that is not cold.

I haul the wood from the forest with a wheel barrow and then split it by the bonfire pit. Then i haul it over to the tiny house to be used to heat it up and keep us warm and cozy inside.

While the winter wind and snow rages outside we are cozy and warm inside out tiny house.

Thanks for watching. Please Subscribe & follow my daily videos.
