We were back to work full blast on the homestead after traveling for the holidays. We had spent Christmas with family and New Year with friends.

Now that we are back on the off grid homestead we are busy as usual.

It has been bitter cold recently with daytime temperatures in the single digits and night temperatures below zero and sometimes double digits below.

So we are burning fire wood to keep the tiny house cozy and warm. It sure feels good to be using fire wood instead of propane to heat the house. Wood heat feels so much better as well.

I had to shovel out the pathways on our property between the tiny house and the off grid wood shop and electronics lab. I also sweep off the solar panels every day now to keep them working well. If it is not snowing, the wind is blowing snow on the panels every day.

A package arrived with some graphics card risers which I will use to build my mining rig. I mentioned that earlier on a previous video.

I cut some more fire wood later in the afternoon. In all I hauled over two full loads of wood. I cut enough for three days at a time.

I am putting a wood stove in my off grid wood shop. I managed to move things around to make space for it. Then I hauled in the wood stove and stove pipes.

I got the pipes put together and on top of the wood stove. Then I marked out the wall where the stove pipe is going to go through. But by then it was just way too cold for me to work out there anymore.

I brought in some wood to build a mining rig which will hold my computer and graphics cards. I worked till after 9 pm to get the project completed. It looks pretty good, I think. This will protect the computer parts from being jostled around by the cats while they are running.

Another package arrived containing a foam cutting pen. There was no name in the box so we have no idea who sent it. But we are sure that this is going to be useful here on the homestead. Melanie is excited and wants to use it for her crafting.

Thank you to whoever sent it to us. It will be used well here.
