In the previous video we talked about the importance of video title, thumbnail and description. Today we are going to talk about how using social media sites are going to help you grow your channel.
Each time you upload a video you should share it with all your social media sites such as flickr, twitter, facebook, pinterest and more.
These sites create what are called back links to your video or channel. A back link is an outside link from some other site which points to your video. The more back links you have, the higher your site will rank with time. Back links give weight and value to a website or video.
A very important thing to consider when writing articles and creating backlinks to your video is that you can never copy and paste your words. You must always write new and unique content for every site you use.
This makes social media work so time consuming but the value of this type of video promotion cannot be ignored.
With each video you upload, you should write an article or a blog post as well. Use multiple blog and article sharing sites. Again, more is better here. The more links to your site, the better.
But another point is that the more articles you have out there talking about your video, the more chances a person has of finding your video in the billions of others out there.
